Hanbat National University Holds Departure Ceremony for the 2025 National Trek: Taking a Step to Foster Future Talents

□ 국립한밭대학교 제41대 LINK 총학생회(회장 윤호)가 28일 2025학년도 국토대장정 출정식을 갖고 9박 10일간의 여정을 시작했다.
□ The 41st LINK Student Council (President Yoon Ho) of Hanbat National University held the 2025 National Trek Departure Ceremony on the 28th and set off on a 10-day, 9-night journey.
○ 이번 프로그램은 학생들의 도전 정신과 공동체 의식을 함양하고, 진취적 리더십을 갖춘 미래 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
○ This program was designed to foster students’ spirit of challenge and sense of community, while nurturing them into future leaders with enterprising mindsets.
□ ‘나의 탐라일지’라는 주제로 열리는 이번 국토대장정은 오는 8월 6일까지 제주 지역에서 진행되며, 80여 명의 학생들은 대학에서 완도항으로 출발해 배를 타고 제주도에 들어가 일자별로 프로그램을 소화하게 된다.
□ The National Trek, held under the theme “My Tamna Journal,” took place in the Jeju region until August 6, with approximately 80 students departing from the university and traveled to Wando Port, from where they took a ferry to Jeju Island and participated in daily programs.
○ 약 70㎞의 행군 코스는 지역 특성과 역사문화 자원을 연계해 구성했으며, 단순한 걷기를 넘어 지역 이해와 공동체 활동이 어우러진 체험형 인성교육 프로그램으로 운영될 예정이다.
○ The approximately 70 km course was designed to incorporate the region’s unique characteristics and historical and cultural resources, and it was operated as an experiential character education program that went beyond simple walking, combining local understanding with community activities.
○ 참가 학생들을 대상으로 사전 안전교육과 성희롱․성폭력 예방교육이 실시됐으며, 완주자에게는 비교과 유닛이 부여된다.
○ Pre-event safety training and sexual harassment and assault prevention education were provided to participating students, and those who completed the program were awarded extracurricular credits.
□ 남윤의 학생처장은 “국토대장정은 자율성과 책임감, 인성과 소통 능력을 기를 수 있는 통합형 리더십 프로그램이다”라며, “미래 사회가 요구하는 핵심 역량을 자연스럽게 체득할 수 있는 프로그램들을 지속적으로 운영할 계획이다”라고 밝혔다.
□ Nam Yoon-ui, Dean of Student Affairs at Hanbat National University, stated, “The National Trek is an integrated leadership program fostering autonomy, responsibility, character, and communication skills,” adding, “We plan to continue offering programs that allow students to naturally acquire the core competencies required by future society.”
□ 한편, 국립한밭대학교는 매년 다양한 비교과 프로그램을 통해 학생을 위한 경험 중심 교육과 실천적 리더 양성을 위해 힘쓰고 있으며, 지역과 연계한 현장 중심 교육을 강화해오고 있다.
